Recently I’ve been working on some character/creature animation workflows for some smaller indie projects; it’s refreshing to see smaller films be able to try out ideas that normally would only be accessible to big studios.

Lots of work still to be done, but wanted to start sharing some ‘concept animation’ tests.

Starting with traditional concept art workflows- Zbrush, Photoshop, Keyshot, Stable Diffusion- and using Framepack and WAN 2.2 first-last frame-to-video, I can control the sequence pretty tightly. The next breakthrough will be controlling middle frames using a content keyframe interpolation workflow, explicit motion guidance, and dynamic generation. Insane possibilities.
