Being able to control each frame with a concept art workflow is proving to be really powerful. Zbrush, Photoshop, Keyshot and Stable Diffusion to design the beast, Framepack for first animation pass, back to Photoshop x Zbrush to refine key frames, then WAN2.2 for final animation. All opensource, run locally. Consistency getting closer.
I’ve been working on some creature animation workflows for a few smaller indie projects; it’s inspiring to see smaller films be able to go after ideas that normally would only be possible for big productions.
Lots of work still to be done, but I wanted to start sharing some ‘concept animation’ tests.
